Aneal “jagabat” Giddings Asked Government And Police To Arrest Parliamentarian Sherod Duncan For Calling Him Names

Opposition parliamentarian, Sherod Duncan was arrested on Thursday and is under investigation following a police complaint against him filed by a staff of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), police said.

According to the police, Mr. Giddings claimed to the Cyber Crime Unit that Duncan singled him out on his talk programme and called him a “jagabat” and “trench crappo.”

The Police said the video recording of the show was downloaded from a Facebook page carrying the name Sherod Avery Duncan as part of the investigations.

Police are treating this as a cyber crime. The complaint is for emotional stress and humiliation. Giddings is GECOM’s Information Technology Manager.  This is an active investigation.
