APNU+AFC Election Petition Case Management Hearing Set For October 22, 2020
The two-election petitions filed by the APNU+AFC case management hearing are set to land before the courts on October 22, 2020. The announcement comes after a PNC/R member and the former Minister was arrested and placed on bail today. The party’s leader Mr. Joseph Harmon announced the news on the APNU+AFC Facebook live page.
The petitions aim to challenge the results of the March 2, 2020, general and regional elections along with the national recount that ended up in a court battle between the PPP/C and APNU/AFC.
The first and the second petition was drafted by Claudette Thorn, Heston Bostwick, Monica Thomas, and Bernan Joete Natasha Nurse, who are all from Georgetown, Guyana.
