Four Guyanese Deported From Suriname For Various Crimes

Four Guyanese nationals who had been incarcerated in Suriname for a variety of crimes were deported on Sunday after serving their sentences.

The convicts were handed over to Inspector Marlon Odonghue, Sergeant Benjamin, and a group of ranks from the Guyana Police Force (GPF) at about 13:00 hrs by Senior Superintendent of Nickerie Police Department, Bryan Isaacs.

Andre Ragmangal, 39, from Bartica, Govinda Dhanraj, 31 from East Coast Demerara, Shanandeen Bacchus, 47 from  Corentyne Berbice, who served two years imprisonment for trafficking in narcotics and Nazim Shaw, 58 from Parika who was imprisoned for two years for the offence of wounding
