Guyanese Mocks U.S. Secretary of State visit on Social Media

In Guyana, social media users flooded Facebook with hilarious memes about U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo two-day trip to Guyana. Memes poured in poking fun at the United States for interfering with the country’s elections and using Guyana to attack Venezuela.

After news broke about Michael Pompeo’s visit, Guyanese and members from the opposition party, APNU+AFC questioned the U.S. Secretary of State intentions for traveling to the country.

The Former President, David Granger, declined this request a few months ago.
