Guyanese Woman Murdered In Barbados

Police have reported that Caroline Baird died after being shot behind the Grand Stands of the Garrison Savannah in the area of Bush Hill.

The 44-year-old mother resided at Dalkeith Hill, St Michael, and was identified by her 23-year-old son.

According to the police report, the shooting incident was reported about 11:15 pm, last night, Friday, July 22, 2022.

The Guyanese national was reportedly shot during a struggle with a number of persons in a motor vehicle and she died at the scene.

Police have launched an unnatural death investigation into this matter and are asking for the public’s assistance in giving any information which they may have that could assist in our investigations.
