Health Minister Dr. Anthony Spoke 3-Minutes On Covid-19 And 33-Minutes On Elections, Vegetables Etc. In Budget Presentation

In the midst of one of the world’s most deadly pandemics and the rising count of deaths and infections in Guyana due to the Covid-19 virus, the Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony took to the “2021 Budget Debate Presentation” podium and started speaking on agriculture and vegetables.

Guyana has a confirmed 8,585 cases of coronavirus with over 195 deaths and more than 35 new infections per day, yet the Minister of Health used his thirty minutes to speak on almost everything other than the pandemic plaguing the country.

Dr. Anthony is yet to detail to the Guyanese public how much of the health budget will go toward purchasing vaccines and avoid begging the world for donations. Anthony spoke of the “no confidence” motion, he spoke of Mingo and elections but yet no details on what exactly the health budget will do to mitigate the threat of the virus on Guyanese lives.
