Myers Charged With Two Counts Of Misconduct In Public Office…Granted $300,000 Bail

The PPP/C administration has continued to oppress and display their racist agenda by targeting another Afro-Guyanese woman. According to reports on Tuesday, September 6, 2020, Roxanne Myers was taken into police custody for allegations of electoral fraud in Guyana.

Myers Attorney Nigel Hughes indicated that Roxanne Myers was transported to the Beterverwaghting after refusing to answer the allegations made against her. Myers was subsequently denied bail and is facing obstruction of Justice charges.

This arrest did not come as a surprise to many with Myers having become a part of GECOM officials’ lists to be arrested over electoral fraud.

Myers is expected in court on October 23, 2020.
