Simona Broomes Walks Free Of Trumped Up Charges, Magistrate Threw Case Out
After assault charges against them were dismissed by Magistrate Dylon Bess this morning, former APNU+AFC Minister Simona Broomes and her driver Dexter Austin walked free out of the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The Magistrate was forced to dismiss the case when all of the prosecution’s witnesses stated that they were not interested in testifying in the case. There was no other witness or evidence of the alleged incident for the Police Prosecution.

Broomes and her driver were charged with restraining Younge without authority and using threatening words. The pair was also sentenced to face charges of inciting public fear. They had vehemently refuted any of the allegations levelled against them.
