Six Charged With Murder of Pritipaul Hargobin, Bath Settlement

Six people today were charged with the murder of Pritipaul Hargobin. Residents of the Bath Settlement beat Hargobin to death during a protest.

The individuals charged are Devon Karran, 22, Ricardo Chivall, 26,  Jagdat Khaloo, 60, Marlon Dharamdai, 35, and 38-year-old Shiohal Shivchand. 

According to reports, the deceased exited a vehicle with a shotgun and fired one round in the air before firing three rounds towards protesters approximately 60 meters away.

Prtipaul Hargobin was then attacked by the crowd and was beaten before police intervention. He was transported to the Fort Wellington Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
