Tragic Accident Leaves Husband Dead And Wife Unconscious In Berbice

Vijay Jaigobin, 33, was killed in an accident on the Berbice River Bridge public road on Thursday afternoon, leaving his 30-year-old wife, Sherry Alicia Jaigobin, unconscious at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

In an unconscious state, the couple was pulled from the car, which had landed upside down, and taken to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital, where Vijay was pronounced dead.

The couple lives in Bath Settlement, Berbice’s West Coast. The investigation is still pending.
