U.S Vice President Kamala Harris Comments On Racist PPP/C Government Practices To Irfaan Ali

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke with President Mohamed Irfaan Ali as part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with Caribbean nations and to underscore the continued importance the United States places on the U.S.-Guyana relationship.

In a shocking use of words, VP Harris mentions that she is looking to work with an “inclusive” democratic government. The Jagdeo/Ali government is no stranger to racism and corruption, as of recently, over 40% of Guyanese view the government as racist and corrupt.

The Vice President noted that she looked forward to continuing her collaboration with President Ali in promoting inclusive democracy, economic development, and security for all Guyanese, and underscored the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to strengthening U.S. partnerships with the Caribbean.

The word “inclusive”  was only used with the Guyanese president.
