Body Of Married Couple Found With Gunshot Wounds As Death Number Rises In Guyana For Early 2022

Nicholas and Sasha Low-a-Chee, a married couple, were discovered dead in their Sarah Johanna, East Bank Demerara home on Tuesday morning.

Investigators from the police department have arrived on the spot. The pair may have been deceased for more than 24 hours and had several gunshot wounds.

Police Commander of Region 4 ‘B’ Mahendra Siwnarine told Stabroek News that investigators are on the scene. He noted that while they are treating the investigation as a murder/suicide, they will have to await autopsies to determine the cause of the deaths.

The police are currently investigating as the rising number of homicides begins for the year 2022.
